Monthly change in goods trade globally 2018-2024

In July 2024, global trade volume in goods decreased by 0.3 percent compared to the previous month. Global trade volumes fell by 12.9 percent in April 2020 following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, global trade quickly recovered, growing by over seven percent in June that year. Since September 2020, it has had a monthly growth level between 2.9 and minus 2.0 percent.
