As of October 2018, around 60 percent of Latin American opinion leaders and journalists said they disapprove the performance of the president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel. Considering Latin America altogether, Uruguayan president Tabaré Vázquez scores the highest approval rate according to journalists in the region.
