During October 2018, over 70 percent of Colombian opinion leaders and journalists surveyed said they approve the performance of the president of Colombia, Iván Duque. Still, over a fifth of them (22 percent) declared that they disapprove Duque's administration. Considering Latin America altogether, Uruguayan president Tabaré Vázquez scored the highest approval rate by journalists in the region.
