The Dragon Boat festival is a traditional annual celebration of Chinese origin which occurs on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. The festival commemorates the death of the famous Chinese scholar Qu Yuan. Dragon boat race is one of the traditional activities on that day. The festival fell on May 30 in 2017.
