In the United Kingdom (UK), consumers viewed digital payments generally with positivity according to the results of a survey conducted in 2018. While 59 of respondents who took part in the survey said digital payments would lead to a decline in fraud, 43 percent of consumers said it would contribute positively towards easing the collection of taxes and reducing black economy activities.
