Gold mine production in Peru amounted to 99.9 metric tons in 2023, representing an increase of almost three percent in comparison to the previous year. In the period of consideration, figures reached the record low at 88.1 metric tons in 2020. In addition to this reported increase, the country was the eleventh largest gold producer worldwide that year.
