The quality of both today's social network apps and internet's speed have lead to a more intense use of social media. In Central America, when asked about the frequency of social network usage, nearly 34 percent of respondents claimed to spend over three hours per day using these apps. Moreover, nearly 32 percent of them said they spent between one and three hours a day.
