This statistic shows the domestic visitor spending in Italy in 2015, by macro-area of origin. According to the research, about one third of the total domestic visitor spending came from tourists from the North-West (19.5 billion euros). Moreover, both tourists coming from the North-East and the South and the Islands spent 12.7 billion euros. Overall, the study reported that domestic visitor spending in Italy was 56.4 billion euros.
