Global medical and adult-use cannabis spending share in 2014 and 2024

Worldwide spending on legal recreational cannabis is expected to be far greater in 2024 than 2014, largely driven by the opening of new markets such as the state of California and all of Canada. By 2024, adult-use spending is set to account for 66 percent of all cannabis spending.
