With over 68.5 million U.S. dollars worth of infant food imported in 2022, Colombia was the leading importer of baby food preparations among a selected group of countries in Latin America. Peru ranked second, with imports of these products attaining a value of about 52.6 million dollars. Other leading countries included Ecuador, Nicaragua, and Guatemala, all of them with a baby formula import value of over 30 million dollars in 2022.
