In all 28 member states, more people were concerned than not concerned about personal data being used to target the political messages they see. In Ireland, Spain, Greece, and Hungary at least three quarters were concerned. Only in Estonia was the share of concerned respondents less than half (48 percent)

Respondents were asked "How concerned are you about the following issues related to the use of Internet and of online social networks? The personal data people leave on the Internet is used to target the political messages they see, undermining free and fair competition between all political parties"
