The data provided by Prometeia, reveal that between 2016 and 2018, Germany was the undisputed supplier of vehicles for Italy. As a matter of fact, the value of imports of cars coming from this country increased from 8,221.7 million euros in 2013 to 9,145.8 million euros in 2018. Spain and France were the other two major suppliers. However, the value of cars imported into Italy from France and Spain was much lower compared to the imports from Germany.
