The data provided by Prometeia reveal that in 2018, Western Europe accounted for 70 percent of the value of vehicles imported into Italy and that this share increased by 7.4 percentage points compared to 2013. On the other hand, the share held by new EU member states decreased from 20.2 percent to 16.9 percent, during the same period.
