This statistic shows the domestic visitor spending in Italy in 2015, by macro-area of destination. According to the research, about one third of the total domestic visitor expenditure related to visits in the North-East (19.4 billion euros) and almost one quarter (13.3 billion euros) to visits in the South and the Islands. Overall, the study reported that the domestic visitors' spending in Italy amounted to 56.4 billion euros in 2015.
