Consumer opinions on traditional bank versus neobanks in Germany 2022
According to a survey carried out in April 2022, there were two main reasons for respondents favoring traditional banks over online banks in Germany. One was the better customer service traditional banks provide, the other was physically visiting the branch and being advised by professionals. Despite these reasons, with traditional banks closing, more than half of the respondents said that they would consider switching to an online bank.
