Smartphone usage Japan 2018, by location
According to a survey conducted in October and November 2018, around 85 percent of respondents in Japan used their smartphones at home, compared to roughly 68 percent who reported to use their smartphone on the go. That year, around 65 percent of people in Japan owned a smartphone.
