Spirits and beer were the most consumed alcoholic beverage in St. Vincent & the Grenadines in 2016, accounting for 57 and 37 percent of alcohol consumption in the country. In contrast, wine accounted for only one percent of consumption. In that year, St. Vincent and the Grenadines was the country with the tenth highest annual per capita consumption of alcohol in Latin America and the Caribbean.
