Share of mobile devices retail employees consulted in the UK 2017
Retail employees in the United Kingdom used in-store technologies such as mobile tablets, mobile points of sales, smart checkouts etc. fairly frequently in 2017, as the results of a survey conducted on digital capabilities of UK high streets suggested. 79 percent of mobile devices used by employees when assisting customers were smartphones. This was followed by tablets at 52 percent. UK retail employees also made use of wearable device technologies in store to help improve customer experience.
