Environmental friendliness and long-term affordability are the main reasons for Hong Kong consumers to consider buying an electric car. According to the survey conducted by Rakuten Insight, about 71 percent of the respondents in Hong Kong who considered buying an electric car stated they preferred an electric car over a conventional one because it is environmentally-friendly.
