Chinese consumers' attitude towards buying an electric car was split in mid-2019, although a slightly higher proportion of respondents thought of acquiring an electric vehicle. According to the survey conducted by Rakuten Insight, about 57 percent of the Chinese respondents stated they considered buying an electric car while 43 percent claimed otherwise.
