In 2018, Western Europe was the main destination market for clothing products exported from Italy. In fact, according to the data provided by Prometeia, the share of export value addressed to Western Europe only slightly decreased from 50.8 percent in 2013 to 50.6 percent in 2018. By contrast, the share of export value of clothing products from Italy to Asian country increased, passing from 17.2 percent in 2013 to 21.2 percent in 2018.
