Leading public universities in Egypt by number of enrolled students 2021/2022
The public higher education institution with the most number of students in Egypt during the academic year of 2021/2022 was Al-Azhar University, with 371,034 students. Cairo University came second with 192,436, while Helwan University had 190,580 students enlisted.
