Sharing personal data: incentives for consumers in the UK 2019
In the United Kingdom, more than 50 percent of consumers said financial rewards were an incentive for them to share their personal data with companies, according to a survey conducted on digital retail in 2019. The second most popular consumer incentive was free products and services offered by companies in exchange for data. The least influential offers for consumers were charity donations and personalized services, as stated by 43 and 38 percent of respondents respectively.
