Support for additional costs for eco-friendly packaging in Great Britain 2019

In a 2019 survey, members of the British public were asked whether they would be willing to pay slightly more for eco-friendly packaging, or choose cheaper non eco-friendly packaging, 50 percent said they would choose the more expensive option.
Plastic waste is a growing concern amongst the British public, with the majority of all age groups concerned about the amount of plastic packaging thrown away in the United Kingdom.
