Almost 60 percent of German medium-sized companies had either purchased or actively considered purchasing cyber insurance according to a survey carried out in December 2021. However, only 23 percent of the companies surveyed already had this coverage. Risk management experts surveyed in 2022 deemed cyber incidents to be the biggest risk to businesses worldwide.
