In 2018 the assets under management for EPF were over 9.8 trillion Indian rupees. The compound annual growth rate for EPF scheme has been around 16 percent since 2011 until 2018.
The Employees' Provident Fund is one of the oldest pension schemes in the public sector in India and was launched in 1952. It is also the largest retirement benefit scheme in the country based on the assets under management as well as the subscriber base.
