With hundreds of bank branches closing across the United Kingdom (UK), customers are now more than ever using online and or mobile banking to handle a number of banking activities. In a survey conducted in late 2018, 53 percent of respondents used online banking to transfer money to another person. Customers used digital channels least frequently for disputes, complaints, deposits and withdrawals.
