Opinion on electric car purchase India 2024
In a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in January 2024, around 52 percent of respondents stated that they had considered buying an electric car. With an aim to promote the sales of electric vehicles across the country, the government of India has proposed to reduce the goods and services tax on electric vehicles by seven percent. The government also suggested supporting the manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries.
