Preferred payment mode in festive season India 2018-2021
During the survey conducted on preferred shopping modes throughout the festive season across India in 2021, about 59 percent of the respondents preferred using credit cards. EMI was the least preferred mode of payment with only 21 percent of respondents opting for it. The shoppers in the south Asian country seemed to be shifting more towards credit from a cash and debit-driven economy.
