In 2019, the value of cold-formed steel exported from Italy to West European countries amounted to 1.9 billion euros. Data provided by Prometeia show that Western Europe was the first destination area for cold shaped steel exported from Italy. New European countries followed with 563 million euros, while the Italian exports of cold-formed steel to Mexico, Canada and the United States added up to 225 million euros, ranking third among the considered macro-regions.
