Italy: leading suppliers of iron and steel manufacturing in Italy 2017-2019
This statistic depicts the leading suppliers of iron and steel manufacturing in Italy from 2017 to 2019, by import value. Data provided by Prometeia show that, in 2019, the import values of the iron and steel industry experienced an increase among all the leading suppliers. France was the first among them in terms of value and the imports from this country decreased from 1.58 billion euros in 2018 to 1.53 billion as of 2019. Germany just followed with 1.4 billion euros in 2019, whereas the imports of steel and iron from Ukraine amounted to 1.3 billion euros.
