In 2019, Western Europe accounted for 59.4 percent of flat and technical glass exported from Italy, based on value. Data provided by Prometeia show that this was a slight increase compared to 2014, when Western Europe represented 59 percent of the total value of Italy’s flat and technical glass exports. On the other hand, the share held by countries from North Africa and the Middle East decreased from 4.9 percent in 2014 to 3.5 percent in 2019.
