Largest P&C insurance group in Belgium 2019, by market share
The market share of the top five property and casualty insurance groups in Belgium account for 62 percent of the total market. AXA, headquartered in Paris, led the show with a share of 18.7 percent of the market. In 2018, AXA saw gross written premiums for property and casualty insurance total more than two billion euros. Belgian insurance company AG came in second accounting for 15.8 percent of the market.
