The sales value of electricity in Norway peaked at over 314 billion Norwegian kroner in 2022. This was the maximum figure in the period under consideration. The value of energy sales by enterprises in the Norwegian electricity industry more than doubled between 2021 and 2022. In 2020, during the COVID-19 health crisis, their income from electricity sales dropped to a minimum of roughly 60 billion Norwegian kroner.
