This statistic presents the production value of a significant sample of companies active in the organization and host of trade fairs, congresses and conferences in Italy from 2015 to 2018. Data provided by Competitive Data show that the production value of the sampled companies increased from 828 million euros in 2015 to 903 million euros in 2018.

*The source adds the following information: "Companies with significant (statutory) turnover, a degree of specialization in the sector greater than or equal to 50 percent of the total turnover, and active in all the financial years considered have been taken into account for the calculation. The calculation also takes into account the balance of power between companies. For example, companies with a too high turnover were discarded, so that their balance sheet structure does not excessively influence the average sector indicators".
