Trust in news found through search engines was highest among Malaysian respondents between the ages of 35 to 44 years old in 2021. According to a survey on news consumption in Malaysia conducted in February 2021, 38 percent of respondents in that age bracket trusted the news found through search engines, compared to 30 percent of respondents aged between 18 to 24 years old.
