When asked about how often survey respondents accessed news and how interested they were in news, a majority stated that they were somewhat interested in the news and accessed it at least once a day. About 36 percent of the respondents fell in the category of casual users wherein they were typically not very or not at all interested in news and accessed it less than once a day.
