Between 2013 and 2018, Western Europe was the main area of destination for Italian exports of tires. According to the data provided by Prometeia, the share of exports destined to Western European countries increased from 67.7 percent to 68.4 percent in terms of value during the period considered. The share of exports of tires sent to new EU member states also increased slightly from 2013 to 2018.
