Duration of roaming voice calls in mobile telephony in Poland 2010-2023
Introducing the "Roam Like At Home" principle significantly impacted Poles' mobile telephony services use. Using the same rates in other EU countries for voice calls, SMS, and data transmission, as customers in Poland resulted in Poles using their mobile phones much more often abroad. The total duration of outbound roaming calls made by Poles abroad amounted to 3.7 billion minutes in 2023. This was a 3.5 percent decrease compared to the previous year.
