Visitor numbers to Singapore Art Museum 2012-2021
The Singapore Art Museum received 280.8 thousand visitors in 2018, its last year of operations before a planned three-year closure for renovations and restorations. Between January 1 to February 28, 2019, the smaller Singapore Art Museum @ 8Q branch received 8.4 thousand visitors before its planned closure. While visitor numbers have been falling since 2015, the Singapore Art Museum was still the most important contemporary art museum in Singapore, organizing the Singapore Biennale since 2011.
