In 2018, there were more than 27.7 thousand passengers arriving in the airport of Matamoros, Mexico. This represents a decrease of around 25.5 percent in comparison to the previous year, when the city received a total of 37.3 thousand air passengers. When compared to 2016, the decrease in air passenger arrivals in the city was more than 31 percent.
