This statistic provides information about the year-on-year change of the average price per square meter for retail space in Italy in 2019, broken down by region. Prices in the sector decreased all over the country, with the exception of Lombardy, where prices increased by 1.2 percent, and Campania, where prices remained stable. The region where the prices decreased the most was Lazio (-3 percent).

It should be noted that in this report the analyses do not contain data on stock and real estate transactions for the municipalities of the autonomous provinces of Trento (176 municipalities) and Bolzano (116 municipalities), Veneto (4 municipalities), Lombardy (2 municipalities) and Friuli Venezia Giulia (43 municipalities) where the system of land registers (or table system) for real estate advertising applies.
