In 2018, Western Europe was the main destination for alcoholic beverages exported from Italy. However, according to data provided by Prometeia, the share of export value addressed to Western Europe decreased from 66.2 percent in 2013 to 63 percent in 2018. By contrast, the share of export value of alcoholic beverages from Italy to North America increased from 11.7 percent in 2013 to 14.5 percent in 2018.
