Nevertheless, according to data provided by Prometeia, the share of export value addressed to western Europe decreased from 56.9 percent in 2014 to 52.3 percent in 2019. By contrast, the share of export value of wine from Italy to North America (NAFTA) increased from 27.9 percent in 2014 to 30.3 percent in 2019.
