In 2021, more than 40 percent of used alternative energy vehicles traded in China could last for two to four years and 30 percent could be used for four to six years. The share of used alternative energy vehicles in China with less than two years of life has decreased from 59 percent in 2019 to 23 percent in 2021. This represented the average life span of used alternative energy vehicles traded in China has increased significantly in recent years.
