Instagram's popularity is expanding in Ecuador. As of January 2019, the South American country had approximately 3.9 million monthly Instagram users, a growth from the 3.4 million users registered a year earlier. Furthemore, it was found that, as of February 2019, most of Instagram's users in Ecuador were women, accounting for about 54 percent of total users in the country.
