According to data from Ipsos, Malaysian respondents were more trusting of the people that they know predominantly in person as credible sources of news now than five years ago, with a net perceived change in trust of 34 percent. By comparison, Malaysian respondents were less trusting of the people that they know predominantly through the internet as a source of news, with a net trust score of -3 percent.
