This statistic shows the net trust scores in several types of news sources in Malaysia as of February 2019. According to data from Ipsos, Malaysian respondents trusted the people that they know predominantly in person most as credible sources of news, with a net trust score of 43 percent. By comparison, people that they know predominantly through the internet were viewed as the least trusted source of news, with a net trust score of -29 percent.
