During the period surveyed, 32 percent of respondents in Malaysia were of the opinion that the sugar tax would be neither beneficial nor detrimental. By comparison, 25 percent of respondents felt that the sugar tax would be somewhat beneficial, while 23 percent of respondents felt that the sugar tax would be somewhat detrimental.
