This statistic displays the results of a survey of opinions regarding the most pressing issues the European Union should focus on in the coming years in the Netherlands in 2019. Survey participants were asked to list the three European issues which they considered to be the most important. Organized crime and terrorism, the environment and climate, and immigration emerged as the issues which respondents were most concerned with. Over 50 percent of respondents thought the European Union should focus on combating organized crime and terrorism in the coming years, while just 15 percent of respondents thought the EU should focus on investing in education, science and innovation.
